The Counseling and Social Advocacy Center (CSAC) @ UMSL assists individuals, couples, and families in need of counseling services with affordable counseling provided by professional counselors and graduate counseling students.
CSAC @ UMSL is operated through the Counseling Program in the College of Education. The Center provides training for school and clinical mental health counseling practicum students in the master’s and doctoral counselor training programs. The students are under the supervision of faculty members who hold licenses in mental health professions, including licensed professional counselors, licensed psychologists, licensed marriage and family therapists, and more.
The CSAC is located at University of Missouri-St. Louis, South Campus, in the Ward E. Barnes building, 2993 South Drive, St. Louis, MO 63121.
